Reutilisation of electronic waste and their effect on global system.

ELECTRONIC WASTE

It is simply abbreviated as e-waste today in a very common language. It comprises of wastes mainly from electronic materials such as electronic gadgets, printed circuit board(pcb) and all types of computer materials.

Effect on global system

Electronic waste contain many hazardous materials such as cadmium(cd) (one of toxic material for human that adversely affect human kedney and bones), pvc [POLY VINYLE CHLORIDE] (that is used for cabling pcb), it release dioxine affects human reproductive and immune system, mercury [hg] (used in lighting devices, affects nervous system, kidney, brain and many other toxic material such as lead (pb), pcb (poly chlorinated biphenyle) etc.

One can understand that due to production of electronic materials, we are also generating these toxic materials which is harmful not only for human but also for environment. It affects our ecosystem as well as global system. E-waste problem is of global concern because of nature of production and disposal of waste in a globlised world.

Reutilisation of e-waste:

Because of this complex composition of valuable and hazardous substances, specialized, often “high-tech” methods are required to process e-waste in ways that maximize resource recovery and minimize potential harm to humans or the environment.

If you have e-waste and do not know how to dispose it without causing any damage to the environment, just log in to www.ewaste.in.
